ನಾಲಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿತ್ಯವಾದರೂ
ಸ್ವಂತಕ್ಕೆ ರುಚಿಯೂ ಉಳಿಯದ ಹಾಗೆ ದಿವಸಾ
ನಾಲಿಗೆ ತೊಳೆಯುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳು
ಉಜ್ವಲತೆಯನ್ನು ತರೋ ಹಲ್ಲುಪುಡಿಯಿಂದ
ಗಸಗಸ ತಿಕ್ಕಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಮಿನುಗುತ್ತಾವೆ.
